Navadurga honors the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga during Navaratri. Nine tridents, crafted from 'Kumkum' (a red pigment sacred in Hindu rituals), represent her avatars. Each trident's middle spoke is replaced by an icon specific to one incarnation. Displayed on transparent acrylic, the installation casts powerful shadows, adding depth.

Beyond celebrating Durga's fierce divinity, the use of Kumkum comments on women's roles in India, embodying both power and beauty.
