This sculpture is based on Budh, the Hindu God of Planet Mercury. Continually transforming, Budh is the only genderfluid God in Hindu mythology. The form of the sculpture is inspired by the balance between the two ends of the gender spectrum. The identical and repetitive modular tubes symbolize the liminal nature of the God.
